Don't just compare CSI scores. Two strategies with the same CSI can have very different risk profiles. A strategy with CSI 72 and Max DD 12% may be better than one with CSI 75 and Max DD 35% — depending on your risk tolerance.

Compare similar instruments — Comparing an ES strategy to a crypto strategy may not be meaningful
Check correlation — Strategies that look similar individually might be highly correlated, reducing diversification value if combined
Consider trade count — A strategy with 300 trades has more statistical reliability than one with 60
